Welcome to my little corner of the internet! 👋🏽
I'm Bharath and if we were meeting over coffee in Bengaluru(where the weather is always perfect for conversations), I'd probably start by asking what fascinating rabbit hole you've fallen into lately because I'm endlessly curious about how things work and what everybody is upto.
What drives me
I believe the most interesting problems live at the intersection of human creativity and systematic thinking. Give me a complex scenario to untangle or a "what if" question to explore, and I'll lose track of time completely. There's something magical about helping others discover their unique strengths through the right questions- it's like watching a garden bloom. Folks who know me would tell you I'm great at giving a fresh perspective when things get tough. Beware- they might also mention my odd ability to stay humble and be available for them at any time. They are just being too kind to me.
These days, I channel my love for creative problem-solving as a Senior Product Manager at Okta where I lead developer tools and SDKs for the Auth0 platform. But my journey here wasn't linear- I started a company right after college, worked as a software engineer for years, and discovered I kept naturally gravitating toward the "why" and "what if" questions. A wise engineering manager nudged me toward product management, and I've been crafting developer experiences ever since.
I'm obsessed with making developer tools that just work- no manual required. Great developer experience should feel like an extension of your thinking, not a puzzle to solve.
When I'm not obsessing over developer experience, you might find me:
- building LEGO sets(my last one was a 1600 piece Ferrari race car)
- watching F1 races and debating strategy calls
- reading books on psychology, leadership and strategy
Before Okta, I worked at Appsmith helping developers build internal tools faster, led the API and integrations platform at Hiver, and spent time at Branch making sure millions of deep links on the internet actually worked.
